gonna take a bit for there to be anything in here, have a lot of figuring things out to do
Links to some people I have hung out with at some point
Flyesen/Tenth Frog/Ortho's soundcloud
OddMerit's Neocities
Obspogon's Neocities
Dawnya's Itch page
Number Two's website
Esotheric Triangle's website
Eden's website
Aqueous' website
Kastel's website
Behemoth's website
Valy's website
And here's some things I'm keeping up with recently(this is mostly just an excuse to have an easy link to them later)
Vaudevilleghost's Case By Case
Iro's blog
Nomnomnami's website
here's the blog scroll
Since getting this site here I have finished Wild Arms, Dragon Quest(the first one) and Labyrinth of Refrain,
but not played a singular second of Okage, that game is very good I'm just a very good person at forgetting
to play it.
Should I make a dedicated blog page in this to write this stuff down instead of just
putting it below the home page?
Yes, but it's work and I'm procrastinating on other, more important work writing this,
so I shouldn't be doing anything that requires anything more involved than writing
this text down on this page.
I just had the thought of whether or not to put dates on the "blog posts" in here but
that's stuff for someone who's got a site that's like
a thing
y'know?
This isn't professional or really developed enough for me to decide on something so
important as "leaving time stamps" so "people can understand what date it was when you
were leaving those thoughts", one of these days I'm just gonna let slip a date and you're
going to have to discover when I started doing this from THAT
well not really since I'm not planning on writing things here daily lol
I am keeping track of when I write what personally though, so if I ever need to backdate
anything I'm ready to do it... well, I'm going to have the information to do it
readyness is a completely different thing
one that I am...
not
really known for having
anyways! I'm prolly gonna write down my thoughts on something I've been reading or playing
here sometimes, if you're interested in reading thoughts on uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...
I've been playing Twilight Princess recently I guess? That's the one I'm more likely to
talk about, I think
if you're interested in reading that on a basic ass dry ass rough ass HTML site that I
really don't wanna bother making a second page on at this moment, check here next month
and it might be here
oh and yeah I'm manually justifying the text right now if you notice it drifting
slightly every now and again, that's why, it's kinda fun to do this so I'm going
to miss it if I ever make it have like... a "real interface" for me to "write on"
or whatever
honestly I'm too busy to try to learn how websites work right now
so writing this directly on the HTML file feels pretty alright.
ignore everything I said about the next thing probably being about Zelda
I've been playing Rhapsody and that game is very neat, haven't really
gotten far, still in the first town, with the prince fanclub thingy
and all that, but it's fun!
the battle system is a light tactical thing, kinda like Disgaea but
generally shorter, the maps are one screen, you choose the order on
moving and doing your main action, if you don't do anything and pass
that character goes on "defense"
there's a little monster recruiting system, it works like Pokémon
Mystery Dungeon, if your leader does the last hit then there's a
chance that the enemy will go "you're cool, can I join?" and you
get a party member
there's also non-monster party members, I got two dolls, generally
the dolls are way stronger than the monsters so it feels like once
I get a third I'm unlikely to use the monsters again, but they're
neat.
Honestly it's kinda fucked up that they made a PC port of Twilight
Princess right after I started a playthrough.
Like c'mon!!!!! A bit earlier or a lot later would've been nice!
finished Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth
I had an idea of like, doing some ASCII art or something but...
honestly it's kinda late right now and the way I'm writing
these isn't very convenient for doing any ASCII art.
if this specific post gets a comment section in the future:
please, feel free to ask for me to add an ASCII art to it
it can be of any digimon in this game, or human I guess, I'll
do it, prolly, maybe, I might be too lazy to do it, but like
I'll read it, probably, if it has a comment section I should be.
Ok so I've been playing Pokémon Violet on and off this year
and my pathing ended up being kinda ehh for the most part
after the first gym I did(the water gym) pretty much
everything I did was too weak for me, it was really
annoying me! Honestly it was kinda demotivating to play a
game and everything kinda melted, and I use like, 12
different pokémon so I have a "level range" and a harder
time managing EXP(not using the candies) but good god
I finally had a good fight! I was stuck for a while on
ビワ(the fighting team star chick, dunno her english name)
It was really good!
Like legit! Really really good!
From the first fight I kinda noticed that my level range
of 6 level 44-52 pokémon was completely able to win
against her if I just played my cards right so I simply
had to fight her a buncha times to map the fight, "oh I
can bait the AI into doing this with this and swap to that
and resist/immune it", one of my pokémon essentially hard
walled one of hers outright, her vehicle raising its
defense after ever attack but also consistently debuffing
its own speed was also a really interesting wrinkle to the
fight, since my team was kinda full of physical attackers
there was a pretty important choice with the order of
operations so they wouldn't be unable to deal any damage
and having to decide which pokémon had to live to fight
it was also really fun
I really wish I could be underlevelled a bit more often
also as a separate thought from that wow did I really squeeze these down over time
I need to kinda like, consciously fix that, I guess
